Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Mission Raniganj’ released in theatres on October 6. The film released with ‘Thank You For Coming’ and both the films have not made big numbers at the box office. The audiences are still flocking to watch ‘Jawan’. But ‘Mission Raniganj’ has showered a lot of praise.

 Akshay himself has said in an interview recently, that while the film may not have done well at the box office, but he considers it as one of his best performances.
Now R Madhavanalso praised the film and Akshay’s work.

Mission Raniganj is coordinated by Tinu Suresh Desai and depends on the 1989 Raniganj coalfields fiasco. Akshay assumes the part of architect Jaswant Singh Gill who saved the existences of 65 coal excavators caught during the emergencies. It stars Parineeti Chopra inverse Akshay.

While the film might have failed to meet expectations in the cinema world, Akshay had said that he might have brought in 3-4 times more cash than what he does assuming he did films like ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Unruly Rathore’ as it were. Yet, it’s a cognizant choice for him to give something back to the general public. Thus, he will keep on doing things which have a bigger message.
